...where members always feel needed, wanted and expected!

Welcome To New Day Clubhouse

Needed,Wanted & Expected That is our motto at New Day Clubhouse. If you or someone you know needs a place to feel this way let us know. We serve adults that have been diagnosed with a mental illness in Spartanburg County. Please check out our programs we offer. Mission Statement......The Mission of New Day is to help persons served to develop their abilities to live as independently as possible within the community.

Individuals participating in the programs and services at New Day Clubhouse are known as members, not clients or patients. The Clubhouse offers a home-like environment where members experience support, understanding, and opportunities for personal growth. All services focus on the member's strengths, talents and abilities, and are designed to facilitate successful social and vocational adjustments to community life.

Mission Statement

The Mission of New Day is to help persons served to develop their abilities to live as independently as possible within the community.

NEW DAY, INC. OF SPARTANBURG, SC also known as New Day Clubhouse, was founded in 1987 as a private, nonprofit organization through the efforts of the Mental Health Association of the Piedmont. New Day was established to fill the community's need for a psychiatric rehabilitation center serving adults, 18 years and older, with diagnoses of serious mental illness.

New Day is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and contributions to New Day are tax deductible. New Day is affiliated with the United Way of the Piedmont and the Spartanburg Area Mental Health Center. New Day is a member of the International Center for Clubhouse Development and is accredited by CARF - The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission for the Community Based Rehabilitation Programs for its Community Integration—Adults, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program.
